It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….

San Miguel de Allende has decked itself out in its finest holiday cheer and everyone is really excited that Santa can once again come to town this year, wearing his mask of course, with presents for all the good little boys and girls.

This ‘little girl’ is headed to a very different place for Christmas this year – Italy! I have been asked to house (BnB) and pet sit at a lovely location in the Tuscan hillside outside of the beautiful town of Siena. Check out Podere Casalciccia.

My good friend and traveling buddy, Joyce, will once again join me and though there will not be any guests to entertain while the owners are away, two dogs and 2 cats will keep us company. We also have use of the family car with which to explore the Tuscany countryside, which is at the top of our to-do list.

After 4 weeks in Tuscany, we are off to Athens, Istanbul, and ending up back in Sicily before returning to our homes in February. I invite you to join us in words and pictures as we explore, taste, wander, learn, and enjoy our latest adventure.
